Caliphate of Cordoba flag by SalesWorlds Caliphate of Cordoba flag by SalesWorlds
Although is not an oficial flag, it was a recurrent symbol during the time. A green flag with a white eagle. It's documented for first time in 934 by Ibn Hayyan with this words:

"looking on this occasion among its flags the white eagle that had invented, since no sultan had it before, which the people looked at with curiosity and delight, being the subject of endless commentary", "the poets mentioned the fastuosity of the stop, praising the recent and ingenious adoption of the eagle on the flag in many excellent poems".
